El Circo Dia is an aerial theater collective that cultivates working relationships between dancers, musicians, and theater tech artists based in the San Francisco Bay Area. El Circo Dia seeks to maximize a collective voice to create productions that serve as a launching point for meaningful, socially-relevant conversations.
El Circo Dia was the 2016 recipient of Dancer's Group CA$H Grant for Sandia’s aerial theater production of "Refuge: A Ballad of the Renting Class.” and has been supported in part by Zaccho Dance Theatre, Penasco Theater Collective, SPACE 124 at Project Artaud, and San Francisco Parks and Recreation.
You can help local arts education thrive with your financial support. We are a small locally owned business and every dollar goes into the cost of maintenance and productions. Donations can be sent through Venmo to @DaniSexton labeled El Circo Dia. We deeply appreciate your generosity.
We would love to hear about your unique performative vision and how we can collaborate with you and your talents! Contact Sandia (dani.sandia@gmail.com) to join the collective.
