Solo Performance

Sandia is an accomplished Aerial Artist, Coach, and Performance Art Director. She is a master of her craft, an imaginative artist, and skillfully walks the line between stunt woman, fine artist, teacher, artistic director and business owner.

Danielle Sandia Sexton performs as an aerial soloist and has been honored to work with Vau de Vire Society, Vertigone, Zaccho Dance Theatre, Flyaway Productions, Earth Circus, Velocity Circus, Golden Gate Dolls, Extra Action Marching Band, Treat Social Club, as well as festivals, supper clubs and nightclubs locally and internationally.

In 2018, Sandia was Tony Bennett's stunt double, dancing down the side of San Francisco's Fairmont Hotel, and in 2023 she was featured in ZSpace’s 30th anniversary gala lofted upon their 100 year old 10 ton crane. Her impressive and exciting circus career was kickstarted at the San Francisco Circus Center, under the tutelage of Elena Panova and fostered under the tutelage of Joanna Haigood of Zaccho Dance Theatre and Shannon Gaines of Vau de Vire Society

Solo performances are in partnership with Young Rigging for rigging design, lighting design, and fabrication of large scale props and apparatus.
